Return & Refund Policy – Redwood Worm Co.

At Redwood Worm Co., every product is built or packed with care. Because we work with both handcrafted goods and live organisms, our return policy is designed to be fair while protecting product quality and safety.
Returns (Non-Live Products)
We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return:
- Item must be unused and in original condition
- Item must be in original packaging
- Proof of purchase is required
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method.
Return shipping:
- Customer is responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect
Live Worms (Red Wigglers, etc.)
Due to the perishable nature of live worms, all sales are final.
However — we stand behind our quality:
If your worms arrive:
- Dead on arrival (DOA), or
- In poor condition
Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos, and we will:
- Replace your order, or
- Issue store credit (case-by-case)
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we’ll make it right.
Please email us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Photos of the item and packaging
- Your order number
We will:
- Send a replacement, or
- Issue a full refund
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time.
If you need a different item, please place a new order and return the original (if eligible).
Refund Processing Time
- Returns are processed within 3–5 business days after receipt
- Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank
Non-Returnable Items
- Live worms
- Used worm bins or trays
- Custom or made-to-order items
- Items damaged due to misuse
