At Redwood Worm Co., everything is built and packed by hand. We take pride in shipping orders carefully and getting them to you as quickly as possible.
Processing Times
- Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days
- Handmade items (worm bins, trays, etc.) may take 3–5 business days to build and prepare
- You’ll receive tracking info as soon as your label is created
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
We ship via USPS and UPS, depending on the item.
Estimated delivery times:
- Standard Shipping: 2–5 business days
- Expedited Shipping: 1–3 business days (if selected at checkout)
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays.
Shipping Rates
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on:
- Package weight
- Destination
- Selected shipping speed
Occasionally, we may offer free shipping promotions on select items or orders.
Live Worm Shipping
Live worms are shipped with extra care to ensure they arrive healthy.
- Ships early in the week (Monday–Wednesday) to avoid weekend delays
- May be held during extreme weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Tracking is always provided
If conditions are unsafe for transit, we may delay shipment and notify you — this is to protect the worms.
Order Issues & Delivery Problems
If your package is:
- Delayed
- Lost
- Marked delivered but not received

Incorrect Shipping Addresses
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout.
- We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses
- If you notice an error, contact us immediately — we’ll do our best to fix it before shipment
Damaged Packages
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with:
- Photos of the packaging and item
- Your order number
We’ll make it right.
